Hesburgh Libraries

Arabic, Near Eastern, and Islamic Studies

The Hesburgh Libraries provide resources and services to support research in the area of Arabic, Near Eastern, and Islamic Studies. The print collection, housed in the Hesburgh Library, is located in various call number ranges and on various floors because of the multidisciplinary nature of the subject. The the Near Eastern Reference Collection is housed in 714B in the Medieval Institute Library. The Libraries also provide access to journals, newspapers, datasets, and primary sources.

Several subject librarians have expertise in related and overlapping areas of study. They work with students and faculty in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings throughout each phase of the research process.
