Hesburgh Libraries

Peace Studies

The Libraries provide access to resources and services to support peace studies research. This support is geared primarily toward the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies but extends to anyone researching or learning about peace and conflict.

Print materials are housed within the Hesburgh Library, primarily in the JX and JZ call number range on the Lower Level. Political science ebooks can be found and accessed directly through ND Catalog. The Libraries also provide access to journals, datasets, and primary sources.

The peace studies librarian, Mark Robison, provides in-person and virtual (via Zoom) research consultations to students and faculty in one-on-one, small group, or classroom settings. His expertise includes finding and making sense of sources, narrowing a research question, structuring a literature review, and citation. He also provides support with finding and using data related to politics, governance, and conflict.
