I qualify for work-study, can I work in the library?
Any questions regarding work-study and financial aid should be directed to the Student Employment Office. Additional resources can be found on the Notre Dame Student Employment Office website.
Where can I find a list of open positions?
Due to the volume of positions and changing information, we do not post a list of open student positions.
Can I apply to work in a particular branch or location?
Yes. Applicants have the option to select any preferred library location or select any available.
When will I be contacted regarding the status of my application?
Due to the volume of applications, only students who are invited to interview will be contacted.
How long will my application remain on file?
Student class schedules change every semester, so applications will be retained for the current semester only.
Am I required to submit a resume?
Applicants are encouraged to attach a resume, but it is not required.
Can I still submit a paper application?
The Hesburgh Libraries no longer accepts paper applications. Electronic submission is required.
I will be here during the summer. Does the library hire students during the summer?
Yes. The Hesburgh Libraries hires students and temporary employees during the summer.
