Select spaces in the Hesburgh Library are available for meetings and events sponsored by other campus departments and organizations. While we are glad to provide this service, this is a secondary activity for us, and we are not able to offer the same services and equipment that are available from other dedicated event venues.

After you submit your reservation request, you will receive a response at the email address provided in your form submission within 3 business days.

Reservations for the Richard and Margaret Carey Courtyard and 2nd Floor Carey Courtyard Overlook are given priority to special events hosted by the Hesburgh Libraries. For all other inquiries, please email hlevents@nd.edu.
The Carey Auditorium is managed by the Office of the Registrar. View more details in the EMS room request system.
Requests for tours of Fr. Hesburgh's office on the 13th floor are managed by the Office of Mission Engagement and Church Affairs.
Requests for the 14th floor are managed by the Office of the President. This space is reserved for select University functions and is not available for personal or group tours.
