Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, and Probability
The Libraries provide access to services and resources to support research, teaching, and learning in the areas of mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, and probability.
Search the literature effectively in these areas using MathSciNet, zbMATH, or Web of Science. Access the full text of many journal articles online using the FindText icon in these search engines. Use the eJournal Locator to find relevant journals and ND Catalog to locate ebooks and print materials. Relevant print collections, including the Morse Collection, can be found on the Lower Level of the Hesburgh Library, especially in the QA call number range (mathematics, probability, statistics) and the Mathematics Collection.
The librarian for mathematics, Parker Ladwig, provides a variety of library services, including one-on-one, small-group, and course instruction sessions. His areas of expertise include finding and evaluating sources, citation searching, EndNote, and scholarly metrics.
