Thurston Miller 2017 Foik Award Winner
The Foik Award is given annually to a library faculty member who has contributed significantly to library service to the Notre Dame community or to the library profession through personal scholarship or involvement in professional associations. Thurston Miller is being recognized for a multitude of accomplishments during his 25-year tenure at Notre Dame, including his sophomore-level chemistry seminar on library research techniques and his involvement in educating librarians throughout the country in scientific research sources and techniques. It is notable that Thurston was nominated for this year's award by students in his chemistry seminar.
The University of Notre Dame is proud to present the 2017 Rev. Paul. J. Foik, C.S.C., Award to Thurston Miller, Chemistry and Physics Librarian, Hesburgh Libraries
