Carole Richter Pilkinton 2006 Foik Award Winner
The Rev. Paul J. Foik, C.S.C., Award for exemplary contributions by a librarian was presented to head of Electronic Resources and Serials Access Carole Richter Pilkinton, who helped guide the Libraries through “the bewildering thicket of electronic resources” and for identifying methods for the most effective use of their financial resources. A recognized authority on electronic resources, she is “a creative problem solver who is undaunted by challenging and complex issues.” Pilkinton received the honor during an awards dinner hosted by University President John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., at the end of the spring 2006 semester.
