Economics
Hesburgh Libraries’ collections and services support research in the field of economics. This support is predominantly geared towards the Department of Economics but is available to anyone researching or learning about economics or economics-driven topics. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the field, we recommend checking out library resources in other areas depending on your topic (e.g., Sociology, Business, Political Science, Psychology)
Economics collection materials span datasets, databases, books, periodicals, and government documents. Economics print materials are housed within the Hesburgh Library, primarily in ranges HB-HJ on the Lower Level. Explore what is available (both print and electronic) as well as access ebooks using OneSearch.
The Economics and Data Librarian, Ben Chiewphasa, is available for one-on-one and small group research consultations and customized instruction. His areas of expertise include locating and evaluating information/data as well as structuring social sciences research questions. He can also assist with projects involving data analysis and visualization.
