Copy, Print, Scan

Copying, printing, and scanning services are available at Hesburgh Library to Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff.

Multifunction Pharos printers can print, scan documents to email or flash drive, and make copies with a valid NetID. You may also print directly from a laptop. Download printer drivers for laptops from the OIT website.

Printing Charges

Charges are per-page, whether single- or double-sided. Add money for printing online via Domer Dollars or by visiting the OIT Help Desk in DeBartolo.

  1. Black and white: 2 cents per page
  2. Color: 12 cents per page

Printer Locations

Black and white printers are available on the following floors of the Hesburgh Library:

  1. Lower Level
  2. 1st Floor
  3. 2nd Floor
  4. 7th Floor
  5. 10th Floor
  6. 12th Floor

Color printers are available on the 1st and 2nd Floors of the Hesburgh Library.

Scan

BookEye scanners allow overhead scanning (regular-sized and large format books) and multi-page document scanning. These scanners produce documents in a range of formats, including rich text file (RTF), JPEG, PNG, and PDF (OCR optional). There is no charge to use these scanners, and documents may be emailed or saved to a flash drive.

BookEye scanners are available on the 1st Floor of the Hesburgh Library near the Ask Us Desk, and on the Lower Level.
