Review of the Locating Process


Let’s wrap up the process of locating:

Call numbers are addresses that put books on similar topics in the same "neighborhood".
Once you find a book on your topic, you may find something even better by browsing the shelves around it

Sometimes the process of searching also locates the article for you.
In some cases, you can link directly from a citation in an article database to the HTML Full Text version and/or to a PDF of the article. When full-text is not available, you can use the Find Text link to find a copy of the article.

Don’t overlook the print version

While many journals are online, sometimes the print version is a better option.  Use the catalog to find the location and call number of the journal.
