Services for Faculty:

Library staff helps answer questions in person, by phone, and via e-mail.
Research Consultations
A consultation gives you more than just an answer to a question. It provides you with a strategy and a plan of action to address your ongoing needs. Individual and group research consultations are available, by appointment, for Notre Dame faculty. Meet with a Business Librarian (select Make an Appointment from Message Type menu) to identify useful resources and search databases effectively.
In-Class/In-Library Presentation/Orientation
We come to your class or bring your class to the library and instruct students in using library resources and services, with the goal of improving and broadening the quality of the content used by your students.
Course Guide Request
We create course guides for your specific classes that highlight the most useful resources available.
Course Reserve Services
Do you want to provide electronic access to articles and book chapters? Do you want students to have access to a supplemental textbook or case study? We can arrange access to your course materials for students and provide copyright support and guidance for you.
Book/Article Delivery (DocDel/ILL)
We know your time is precious, and we're here to help you make the most of it. Library staff retrieves books and/or articles and delivers them to you in the format you request.
Recommend a Purchase
Do you need a specific book or journal? Library staff purchases books, journals, datasets, databases, and other resources in cooperation with the College and Department heads.
Citation Support (RefWorks, etc.)
We assist you in creating and managing your references with tools like the Business Library Citation Style Guide and RefWorks.
Data Services
Library staff helps you acquire and extract data needed for teaching or research, from library databases such as Datastream and Bloomberg.
Research Impact
Would you like to learn more about the influence of your research? We provide you with information regarding publication counts, citation counts, and journal ranking or impact factor. These measures attempt to quantify the quality and influence of your research.

We assist you in setting up e-mail alerts to track an issue/topic, industry, or company.
