Geddes Hall at University of Notre Dame
CSO Architects designed Geddes Hall, Carole-Sandner Hall (A.C.E.), and Innovation Park here at Notre Dame. They design civic, corporate, educational, hotel and hospitality, and health and research facilities. The firm has twelve principals and fifty employees. Many of the employees are LEED certified to aid the firm towards sustainable design.

DLZ is an architectural, engineering, and environmental firm that has eighteen offices and over six-hundred employees in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio. The firm offers a multitude of services including architectural design and planning, landscape design, construction management, transportation design, water resources development, geotechnical testing, and geospatial surveying. DLZ also has an international branch, DLI, which has a unique partnership with the India Hydropower Development Company. Together with IHDC, the firm designs hydropower projects throughout India.

St. Joseph Cathedral at Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Led by our very own Professor Duncan Stroik, this firm is located here in South Bend and focuses on the design of classical and sacred architecture. The firm has designed and renovated many churches as well as the master plans and buildings for several religious institutions. The firm renders its work by hand using watercolor. Professor Stroik is the editor of the architectural journal Sacred Architecture and the firm recently won the International Honor Award for Religious Architecture from Faith & Form.

Avalon Mosaic in Merrifield, Virginia
SK+I is a large collaborative design studio that includes architects, engineers, and builders. They build a variety of projects including commercial, office, residential, and mixed-use communities and actively participate in the LEED certification process. Mixed-Use Development in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Ryan Companies is a 600 person company that provides building, development, design, and real estate management services across the United States. Their work includes health care, mission critical, public sector, retail, and distribution buildings and involves integrated project delivery, BIM, and LEED construction. Additionally, Tim Gray, who was recently elected to Chairman at Ryan Companies, serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.

David M. Schwarz Architects
Southlake Town Hall, Southlake, Texas
David M. Schwarz has a strong relationship with the Notre Dame School of Architecture; every year he awards one 4th year student and one graduate student with an internship in his Washington, D.C. office and a traveling fellowship through Europe. The firm designs commercial and civic buildings and master plans for cities and universities. 16 members of the staff are LEED certified but Schwarz Architects make it a goal to create a sustainable and efficient design whether or not the building is certified. The firm uses a mixture of watercolor and computer rendering to present its projects. Many of his buildings are available for viewing on Google Earth and the website also allows you to download pdfs of each project that includes plans, watercolors, and photos!
